Ms Verma

Ms Verma graduated in Economics from the University of Warwick and achieved a Distinction in PGCE Secondary Teaching from the Institute of Education, University College London. She was selected to train and support NQT teachers, which enabled her to gain an insight into what is required in the teaching profession; encouraging professionals with a dynamic, flexible approach to teaching. Most importantly, they should have the ability to work with pupils of all academic backgrounds and requirements. This was the foundation for developing Owl Education, where teachers are headhunted to deliver an academic, traditional programme of study in order to achieve success for every individual pupil. Ms Verma is familiar with a range of London schools. She taught at The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School in Upminster and Brentford High School for Girls, progressing to Department Head at The Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls in her second year of teaching. As a Sixth Form Tutor for 10 years, she has gained an excellent knowledge of A Level subject choices, university entry and UCAS preparation. Her knowledge of the UK education system extends to grammar and independent schools in and around London. Her son currently studies Medicine in London and formerly attended the prestigious St Paul’s School in Barnes, whilst her daughter is currently at Cambridge University, having attended the local Notting Hill & Ealing Independent School. Ms Verma has ensured that she has maintained a consistent interest in education in order to ensure success for Owl students.

Miss Redhead

Ms Redhead is one of the original Owl team, with a tutoring career spanning over 30 years. She has completed a City & Guilds qualification in Primary Education. She remains the most popular tutor at Owl and is in constant demand. As the head coordinator for years one to five, she has researched, designed and implemented an academic Owl primary programme, based on the National Curriculum, but with a traditional edge. Her tutoring career has given her vast experience and knowledge of school attainment targets and this has been helped by her work in a range of primary schools in inner London. She has been head hunted to personally tutor international families in Cambridge, and therefore she has experience in teaching students with a wealth of different academic backgrounds and abilities. Over the years, Ms Redhead has successfully provided students with a strong core in English and Mathematics, helping them to progress and succeed in their 11+ examinations and SATs preparation. Her focus has been in preparing pupils for the 7+ independent school examinations, with successful entries for schools such as Lady Eleanor Holles, Notting Hill & Ealing, St Benedict’s and Haberdashers’ Aske’s.

Ms Nayar

Ms Nayar has completed a BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology and has been supporting the Senior Management Team for 20 years. Her knowledge of human resources and managing personnel has been critical in developing a successful teaching team. She is essential in head hunting and interviewing all teaching and administration staff, ensuring that every tutor is aware of the Owl method and works in line with our academic and traditional philosophy. She coordinates and manages all customer services to ensure that we maintain effective communication.

Ms Gaur

Ms Gaur has been a professional Owl tutor for over 30 years. She is a committed member of the Owl team, and is our central curriculum and syllabus co-ordinator for 11+ preparation, Mathematics (Year 3-6) and Science (Years 7-11). She is a tutor highly skilled in achieving the best exam results and is experienced in all GCSE Science examination boards. With a vast teaching experience, she is accustomed to teaching pupils from a variety of academic backgrounds, and of varying levels. She provides intensive sessions for GCSE and 11+ pupils with focus on past practice papers and the final examination. She has a personalised, warm but focused approach, ensuring that each pupil feels they are receiving individual attention in accordance with his/ her personal goals and needs. She has helped construct and create the 11+ syllabus and has always strived to ensure her pupils are getting the most out of every moment of their classroom experience.

Ms Rhea

Ms Rhea (BA, History & English & MA, English Literature) graduated from the University of Warwick and has been with Owl for over 5 years. She is available to provide you with advice on curriculum, schools, examination preparation and tutors. She will be your first point of contact for any queries and concerns regarding your child’s progress and academic needs. Having attended the highly rated Notting Hill & Ealing Independent Girls’ High School, she is familiar with the entrance procedures and requirements for students looking to apply to independent schools within London. She provides interview preparation and advice for leading London independent schools, Promina has a comprehensive knowledge of what students require and tutors A Level History externally to Owl.

Ms Foreman

Ms Foreman is a qualified solicitor, with a First-Class Honours degree from Oxford University and a Distinction BPP Law school in London. Ms Foreman left the legal profession to pursue a career in writing (including her own novel) as well as professional tutoring. Her teaching experience ranges from Year 5 to A Level, and her particular areas of focus are 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations. She has extended her talents in work abroad, including an Education & Recreation Camp in the Czech Republic, which was part of a UN project and her current placement in Moscow working for an educational consultancy. Ms Foreman was formerly our programme co-ordinator and is responsible for the content of the 11+ courses that we currently deliver.

Ms Varilone

Ms Varilone graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class degree in French & Italian studies. She then progressed to gain a TESOL qualification and has accumulated over 3 years’ experience teaching English as a foreign language in Italy, India, the UK and Germany. Furthermore, she has extensive professional experience as an outreach worker for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK. Currently studying for an MA in Italian Cultural Studies and Translation at UCL, she continues to tutor TEFL and Italian, and works with us assisting with customer and administration support.

Ms Carney

Having attended the highly rated Notting Hill & Ealing School, Ms Carney has gone on to complete an English degree at the University of Warwick. Throughout her time at University, she has consistently tutored a range of students of varying ages and abilities. Ms Carney states that she is ‘familiar with the demands of humanities subjects at all levels and is truly passionate about education’. Caroline has recently joined our on site team and will be available to assist and teach at both a primary and secondary level. She is experienced at creating resources, monitoring pupils and is able to consistently research and keep herself up to date with curriculum changes. Ms Carney will also act as a point of contact for all parental queries regarding sessions and curriculum. Ms Carney will be commencing her studies at BPP Law School later this year, supported by a competitive training contract at a Magic Circle law firm (Slaughter & May).

Miss Ikram

Ms Ikram has worked in a supporting role with Owl Education for over 20 years. She has completed a range of Health & Safety qualifications, including Child Protection. Her experience includes working in Berrymede Primary School where she successfully promoted fundraising and was an essential part of the adminstration team. She continues to play an important role in Owl office management.

Mrs Pal

Ms Pal has been volunteering support for our photocopying and printing maintenance team for over 15 years. she is available to assist all parents, children and staff on weekends with all printing requirements.

Mr Sarwar

Mr Sufian Sarwar has completed a BA in Political Science & History from Middlesex University. He has been working at Owl as an admin assistant for over 3 years, and is available to provide assistance on site to all pupils and tutors during session times. He has worked in a multitude of educational institutions over the past 10 years, and this includes work as a teaching assistant. Mr Sarwar aims to provide support with the utmost professionalism, where no request is too small for his attention.

Dr Galantis (GCSE Mathematics, A Level Applied Mathematics, A Level Pure Mathematics)

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Mathematics, PhD Physiology (UCL), PGCE Secondary Teaching (Mathematics, Institute of Education)

Dr Galantis has long since been an integral member of the Owl Education team, having been with us for over 7 years. He has lectured at the Open University, as well as at Harrow College. A favourite amongst our GCSE and A-Level pupils he provides a structured, patient and thorough approach to examination preparation. Dr Galantis is meticulous in his preparation for every session and ensures that pupils explore topics vigorously – he combines this with intensive exam paper practice. Mr Dighorker has over 10 years of teaching experience and has worked in a variety of schools, gaining he is based at the highly rated Slough & Eton school (‘OFSTED Outstanding’), formerly acting as Head of the Mathematics Department. He is a highly coveted tutor at Owl, and takes students from their 11+ examinations through to GCSE. He is heavily focused on examination question practise and has perfected his teaching technique for ensuring high level marks. He provides students with a solid foundation and has spent many years administering the traditional, academic methods that personifies the Owl brand.

Dr Haider (Advanced KS3 English, GCSE English, A Level English)

Dr Haider is a published writer and educationalist with an established academic career. His primary focus is teaching English at KS4 and KS5, and is well acquainted with all examination boards across these levels. With a teaching career spanning over 10 years he is adaptable and flexible and able to cater to a diverse range of pupils with varying academic requirements. He has recently moved on from a teaching post and Head of Department role at Vyners High School to Head of Academic Subjects and Quality Lead at the International Study Centre at Royal Holloway, University of London. His speciality is high level pupils seeking to be stretched and challenged. He currently acts as our co-ordinator for all English sessions for Year 9 to A-Level.

Mr Beroud (11+ and 13+ English, Advanced KS2 English, KS3 English, GCSE English, A Level English)

Qualifications: BA (Hons) English Literature (University of Cambridge)

Mr Beroud has been a professional tutor for over 5 years. He has an extensive background in tutoring high level pupils for both 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations, as well as the KS3-KS5 syllabus. His extensive subject knowledge makes him a specialist for pupils who take on the challenge of the A Level English Literature course and is comfortably able to adapt to each student and their individual needs in accordance with examination boards. His professional tutoring career has gained him an international base, tutoring pupils throughout London and Europe, as well as running leading workshops in schools across the continent. Within his tutorials, Mr Beroud focuses on coaching specific aspects of essay writing technique, such as sentence and paragraph structure, improving and integrating vocabulary, and formulating balanced arguments. His dynamic style of teaching has led him to run workshops on Shakespeare in schools nationwide, partnering with educational institutions like University College London.

After graduating from Cambridge University, with a First-Class honours degree and a distinction in his MA, Mr Powell progressed into professional tutoring. He has now been a professional tutor for over 6 years. He is highly experienced in teaching 11+ English, advanced KS2 English, KS3 and GSCE English Language and Literature. Mr Powell states “My approach depends upon the age group I am working with, but it is modelled on the principles that underpinned my Cambridge and MA education – focused, creative, and discursive tuition which aims to inspire and challenge the students, and builds their confidence by challenging and stretching them. Ms Lally

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Biology (Queen Mary University London), MA Education (University of California Davis), PGCE in Secondary Teaching (Chemistry & Biology , University of California Davis)

Ms Lally is a highly experienced teacher, and is currently also an AQA examiner. As an internationally qualified teacher of Chemistry and Biology she has conducted over 15,000 hours of private tuition in these subjects, ranging from KS3 to A Level. Drawing on this experience, she knows the best  approach to take with each of her students and how to get them to achieve to the best of their ability. Her extensive and topic. Ms Lally states, “ Knowing a subject very well is extremely valuable but the ability to teach and educate a young person is immeasurable. Much of the time I find that students lack confidence in their understanding and have little experience in exam technique which often results in underachieving. My approach is based mostly on practice and application.” As an examiner for AQA, she has vast experience with the syllabus and she has created many supplementary practice exam papers and mark schemes that are reflective of the exact AQA syllabus. Despite this, she has extensive knowledge across all of the examination boards. All of her resources are personally written, ensuring there is no divide between the content and the tutor, allowing her to perfectly supplement her teaching with the ideal supporting work. It is in this way that Ms Lally ensures student satisfaction, by ensuring excellence in every area of her work, from communication to homework selection.

Ms Gill (GCSE Chemistry, A Level Chemistry)

Ms Gill has achieved a First-Class degree in Chemistry from Queen Mary College, University of London. She has a teaching career spans over fifteen years and she is experienced in teaching A Level as well as the GCSE and IGCSE courses. Ms Gill has worked in the comprehensive, grammar and students across varying academic backgrounds. Ms Gill states, “As my passion for teaching A-Level and GCSE Chemistry intensified, I continued as the Head of Department for Chemistry at Ealing Independent College. During my teaching career, I have continued to tutor students for A-Level and GCSE courses following the AQA and OCR Examination Boards as well as Edexcel, with excellent results. I love teaching my subject and I always try to pass on that passion to the students I teach. Ms Ahmed has been an Owl tutor for over seven years. Ms Ahmed has developed her skills and experience working at Heston Community School, the Heathlands School and Gunnersbury Catholic School for boys. Though her time has been spent mainly in secondary school education, it is a passion of hers to teach at a primary level. As a result, Ms Ahmed has worked closely with our curriculum co coordinators, developing teaching techniques and resources suitable for both early years and KS2 pupils. Ms Ahmed has had extensive experience teaching the GCSE English Literature & Language syllabus, and specialises in working with pupils working at the equivalent foundation level. Her approach is to ensure that students cover the essential skills of structure, essay writing and formed model answer responses, which thoroughly helps pupils that are struggling with the more challenging aspects of the course. Her academic teaching career of almost a decade has made her an asset to Owl and she is an integral part of our team.

Ms Carson completed the prestigious Teach First Qualification in English and received an ‘Outstanding with distinction’. Having attended Notting Hill & Ealing Independent School for Girls’, the highest performing school in Ealing, Ms Carson is in tune with the demands of a challenging curriculum. In her time teaching at Slough & Eton school, she has been promoted to a mentoring position. Ms Carson is an experienced and outstanding teacher who has a proven record of attainment and has held multiple teaching and learning leadership roles in secondary education. As a Teach First graduate, and now ambassador for the hugely successful programme, Ms Carson is dedicated to striving for the highest standards and helping all children achieve success. Her broad interests and passion for lifelong learning weave into her approach to education. Mr O’Brien (GCSE, English, KS3 English)

Mr O’Brien has been a dedicated professional teacher at the London Nautical School for the past 6 years. His experience ranges from producing department resources to pastoral and ‘Head of Year’ duties. He has experience teaching students from KS3-KS5 and has helped his students to achieve amongst the highest in his department. With a keen understanding of how to teach pupils across all levels he provides a thorough and approachable method for students. As an AQA examiner Mr O’Brien has an absolute understanding of the English Language and Literature requirements, and he ensures that his sessions are adapted to provide optimum examination success. He is currently pursuing an MA in Creative Writing at Goldsmiths University, for which he won a scholarship, which he believes brings ‘specialism and enthusiasm for the written word into his lessons’.

Ms Hladik (Early Years, Nursery)

Ms Hladik specialises in working with young children in the formative Nursery and Reception years. Children are made to feel comfortable, allowing them to slowly acclimatise, ensuring they are able to concentrate on academic lessons in English and Mathematics at an early age. She emphasises the importance of pencil control, practising sounds, letters and numbers, until the point where young students can confidently begin to write sentences and move on to the higher-level curriculum. She has had a wealth of experience, working at Norwood Green Preschool and the well-established Montessori schools such as the Holly Lodge and Peapods Montessori School.

Mr Devereaux Ward (KS2 Advanced English, KS3 English, GCSE English, A Level English)

Mr Devereaux-Ward currently is head of the KS5 curriculum at school and has a passion for teaching the challenging contents of the literature course to students of all abilities. His teaching is clear, concise and accessible. Students regularly comment on his expert delivery of difficult concepts. He has taught both GCSE and A Level at the Green School in Isleworth and Elthorne Park School in Hanwell. He therefore has complete and thorough knowledge of a range of examination syllabi and has in depth knowledge of most English Literature texts prescribed in local schools. Dr Chatterton (GCSE Chemistry, A Level Chemistry)

Having completed his PhD research and teaching degree, Dr Chatterton has gone on to lecture at the Open University, as well as being an associate lecturer at Birkbeck College, London, which he continues with alongside being a professional tutor. With both classroom experience and extensive subject knowledge, he has a wide range of resources and is an ideal tutor for those wanting to be stretched and challenged, aiming for the A/A* A Level standard. Ms Fogarty (GCSE English, KS3 English, KS2 English)

Qualifications: PGCE in Secondary Teaching (English)

Ms Fogarty has over 25 years’ experience working in the education sector. Ms Fogarty currently teaches at the highly rated Slough and Eton School (OFSTED ‘Outstanding’) where her primary focus is teaching English Language and Literature (Key Stage 3 and 4). She is also the Deputy Head of Year 10 and is well known for her enthusiastic teaching style. Ms Fogarty has a thorough understanding of the requirements of the various examination boards and delivers a series of GSCE revision classes, as part of her role at Slough and Eton School. Further to this, she has an in-depth understanding of the educational and social development requirements for SEN students and is qualified with the Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB) to develop and deliver adapted resources enabling SEN students to access the curriculum in mainstream education through to GCSE level.

Ms Booker (Key Stage 1 English & Mathematics, Key Stage 2 English & Mathematics)

Qualifications: BSc Educational Psychology (Brunel University)

Whilst at Brunel University, Ms Booker was elected as Ambassador for the Disability and Dyslexia Service, curriculum material to individual needs; her teaching has been enhanced by learning from some of the best speech and language psychologists across the country. Furthermore, she has gained knowledge and developed a range of skills by working alongside local education authorities supporting SEN children and developing Education, Health and Care Plans. Ms Booker has been a tremendous asset to Owl Education and she is committed to helping all children achieve their full potential. Her previous experience in we are privileged to have Ms Booker as part the team at Owl Education team.

Ms Saeed (KS2, Mathematics, KS3 Science, GCSE Science)

Qualifications: BA (Hons) History (University College London), MA Leadership (University College London), PGCE in Secondary Education (Canterbury Christ Church University)

Ms Saaed has completed the Teach First Leadership Programme and began her teaching career at for both the Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils. She then moved on to teach at Paddington Academy, further strengthening her skills working within her department observing trainee teachers to contribute to their development and progress . Ms Saaed has a true passion for teaching and child development extracurricular activities to involve pupils in Science outside of the school syllabus. Her past experience as an English Language teacher and her various projects abroad, make Ms Saaed a patient, empathetic and well rounded teacher with a through approach, ensuring steady progress for her pupils.

Ms Ramesh (11-plus Preparation, KS2 English, KS2 mathematics)

Qualifications: BSc Microbiology, Chemistry and Zoology (Bangalore University), MA Biochemistry (Madras University), PGCE inPrimary Education (London Southbank University)

Ms Ramesh’s teaching career spans over 15 years and she has been a curriculum co-ordinator for the 11+ Verbal, Non-Verbal, English and Mathematics course at Owl Education for over 10 years. Her focus areas are Primary Level Mathematics Years 3-6 and she has contributed to designing the unique curriculum at Owl that aims for high level results, paving the way for entry into Year 7. During her teaching career she has worked at Blair Peach Primary School, as well as leading her own children through the intensive 11+ Entrance Tests with excellent results. Ms Ramesh continues to be a favourite amongst many of our students, and she comfortably helps transitions students from the lower primary style of teaching to the more challenging introduction to secondary syllabi and teaching methods.

Miss Moghanchi (11+ Examination Entrance, UCAS Preparation)

Qualifications: BA (First Class Hons) University of Cambridge, PGCE in Economics & Business Studies (University College London)

Miss Moghanchi has recently graduated with a double First-Class Honours from the University of Cambridge. This includes a fourth year at the prestigious Judge Business School. During her studies, she has developed a true passion for education, and she has worked alongside numerous youth community groups following the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower. Such work has provided Parissa with the determination to continuously support children and young people as learners. Having attended the highly rated Notting Hill & Ealing School, Miss Moghanchi recognises the demands of a challenging curriculum. She has an excellent understanding of what successful exam preparation involves and specialises in 11+ preparation for independent and grammar schools. Her tutees value her tailored and determined support with thorough research into their individual needs. She completed her PGCE at University College London, and is currently teaching Economics and Business studies at a local West London school. At Owl Education, she currently undertakes select students for one to one A Level Economics tuition, as well as preparing students for UCAS applications.

Miss Saunders is an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher with a First Class Honors Degree from The University of Southampton. Miss Saunders has been teaching for 7 years in a mixture of state comprehensive schools and the private sector, currently employed at the prestigious Lady Eleanor Holles School in Hampton. During her career at one of the top performing schools in the UK, she has designed curricula; coached trainee teachers and held the role of 2nd in charge of the department. As the head coordinator for years one to five, she has researched, designed and implemented an academic Owl primary programme, based on the National Curriculum, but with a traditional edge. Her tutoring career has given her vast experience and knowledge of school attainment targets and this has been helped by her work in a range of primary schools in inner London. She has been head hunted to personally tutor international families in Cambridge, and therefore she has experience in teaching students with a wealth of different academic backgrounds and abilities. Over the years, Ms Redhead has successfully provided students with a strong core in English and Mathematics, helping them to progress and succeed in their 11+ examinations and SATs preparation. Her focus has been in preparing pupils for the 7+ independent school examinations, with successful entries for schools such as Lady Eleanor Holles, Notting Hill & Ealing, St Benedict’s and Haberdashers’ Aske’s.

Ms Nayar

Ms Nayar has completed a BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology and has been supporting the Senior Management Team for 20 years. Her knowledge of human resources and managing personnel has been critical in developing a successful teaching team. She is essential in head hunting and interviewing all teaching and administration staff, ensuring that every tutor is aware of the Owl method and works in line with our academic and traditional philosophy. She coordinates and manages all customer services to ensure that we maintain effective communication.

Ms Gaur

Ms Gaur has been a professional Owl tutor for over 30 years. She is a committed member of the Owl team, and is our central curriculum and syllabus co-ordinator for 11+ preparation, Mathematics (Year 3-6) and Science (Years 7-11). She is a tutor highly skilled in achieving the best exam results and is experienced in all GCSE Science examination boards. With a vast teaching experience, she is accustomed to teaching pupils from a variety of academic backgrounds, and of varying levels. She provides intensive sessions for GCSE and 11+ pupils with focus on past practice papers and the final examination. She has a personalised, warm but focused approach, ensuring that each pupil feels they are receiving individual attention in accordance with his/ her personal goals and needs. She has helped construct and create the 11+ syllabus and has always strived to ensure her pupils are getting the most out of every moment of their classroom experience.

Ms Rhea

Ms Rhea (BA, History & English & MA, English Literature) graduated from the University of Warwick and has been with Owl for over 5 years. She is available to provide you with advice on curriculum, schools, examination preparation and tutors. She will be your first point of contact for any queries and concerns regarding your child’s progress and academic needs. Having attended the highly rated Notting Hill & Ealing Independent Girls’ High School, she is familiar with the entrance procedures and requirements for students looking to apply to independent schools within London. She provides interview preparation and advice for leading London independent schools, Promina has a comprehensive knowledge of what students require and tutors A Level History externally to Owl.

Ms Foreman

Ms Foreman is a qualified solicitor, with a First-Class Honours degree from Oxford University and a Distinction BPP Law school in London. Ms Foreman left the legal profession to pursue a career in writing (including her own novel) as well as professional tutoring. Her teaching experience ranges from Year 5 to A Level, and her particular areas of focus are 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations. She has extended her talents in work abroad, including an Education & Recreation Camp in the Czech Republic, which was part of a UN project and her current placement in Moscow working for an educational consultancy. Ms Foreman was formerly our programme co-ordinator and is responsible for the content of the 11+ courses that we currently deliver.

Ms Varilone

Ms Varilone graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class degree in French & Italian studies. She then progressed to gain a TESOL qualification and has accumulated over 3 years’ experience teaching English as a foreign language in Italy, India, the UK and Germany. Furthermore, she has extensive professional experience as an outreach worker for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK. Currently studying for an MA in Italian Cultural Studies and Translation at UCL, she continues to tutor TEFL and Italian, and works with us assisting with customer and administration support.

Ms Carney

Having attended the highly rated Notting Hill & Ealing School, Ms Carney has gone on to complete an English degree at the University of Warwick. Throughout her time at University, she has consistently tutored a range of students of varying ages and abilities. Ms Carney states that she is ‘familiar with the demands of humanities subjects at all levels and is truly passionate about education’. Caroline has recently joined our on site team and will be available to assist and teach at both a primary and secondary level. She is experienced at creating resources, monitoring pupils and is able to consistently research and keep herself up to date with curriculum changes. Ms Carney will also act as a point of contact for all parental queries regarding sessions and curriculum. Ms Carney will be commencing her studies at BPP Law School later this year, supported by a competitive training contract at a Magic Circle law firm (Slaughter & May).

Miss Ikram

Ms Ikram has worked in a supporting role with Owl Education for over 20 years. She has completed a range of Health & Safety qualifications, including Child Protection. Her experience includes working in Berrymede Primary School where she successfully promoted fundraising and was an essential part of the adminstration team. She continues to play an important role in Owl office management.

Mrs Pal

Ms Pal has been volunteering support for our photocopying and printing maintenance team for over 15 years. she is available to assist all parents, children and staff on weekends with all printing requirements.

Mr Sarwar

Mr Sufian Sarwar has completed a BA in Political Science & History from Middlesex University. He has been working at Owl as an admin assistant for over 3 years, and is available to provide assistance on site to all pupils and tutors during session times. He has worked in a multitude of educational institutions over the past 10 years, and this includes work as a teaching assistant. Mr Sarwar aims to provide support with the utmost professionalism, where no request is too small for his attention.

Dr Galantis (GCSE Mathematics, A Level Applied Mathematics, A Level Pure Mathematics)

Dr Galantis has long since been an integral member of the Owl Education team, having been with us for over 7 years. He has lectured at the Open University, as well as at Harrow College. Dr Galantis is meticulous in his preparation for every session and ensures that pupils explore topics vigorously – he combines this with intensive exam paper practice. Mr Beroud has been a professional tutor for over 5 years. He has an extensive background in tutoring high level pupils for both 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations, as well as the KS3-KS5 syllabus. As an internationally qualified teacher of Chemistry and Biology she has conducted over 15,000 hours of private tuition in these subjects, ranging from KS3 to A Level. Drawing on this experience, she knows the best  approach to take with each of her students and how to get them to achieve to the best of their ability. Her extensive and topic. Ms Lally states, “ Knowing a subject very well is extremely valuable but the ability to teach and educate a young person is immeasurable. Ms Hladik specialises in working with young children in the formative Nursery and Reception years. Ms Saaed has completed the Teach First Leadership Programme and began her teaching career at for both the Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils. Ms Ramesh’s teaching career spans over 15 years and she has been a curriculum co-ordinator for the 11+ Verbal, Non-Verbal, English and Mathematics course at Owl Education for over 10 years. Her focus areas are Primary Level Mathematics Years 3-6 and she has contributed to designing the unique curriculum at Owl that aims for high level results, paving the way for entry into Year 7. During her teaching career she has worked at Blair Peach Primary School, as well as leading her own children through the intensive 11+ Entrance Tests with excellent results. Ms Ramesh continues to be a favourite amongst many of our students, and she comfortably helps transitions students from the lower primary style of teaching to the more challenging introduction to secondary syllabi and teaching methods.

Miss Moghanchi (11+ Examination Entrance, UCAS Preparation)

Miss Moghanchi has recently graduated with a double First-Class Honours from the University of Cambridge. This includes a fourth year at the prestigious Judge Business School. During her studies, she has developed a true passion for education, and she has worked alongside numerous youth community groups following the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower. Such work has provided Parissa with the determination to continuously support children and young people as learners. Having attended the highly rated Notting Hill & Ealing School, Miss Moghanchi recognises the demands of a challenging curriculum. She has an excellent understanding of what successful exam preparation involves and specialises in 11+ preparation for independent and grammar schools.
